We have certain procedures and reasonable fees involved in recovering your account. The fees are payable only after the account has been recovered and completed. If nothing has been recovered, you do not have to pay anything.


Please note that this is a lengthy process that requires patience as this would involve the participation of several departments within CoinField. Below would be the processes included in this procedure:

  • Change of phone number 
  • Change of email address 


Below are examples of scenarios wherein fees would be applicable:


1.) Change of phone number


Example: The user has registered his work phone number and needs to update the phone number to his personal number.


Note: This process is subject to approval. A number of factors will need to be verified for this request.

2.) Change of email address

Example: User has registered his work email and lost access to his account which contains all personal details (e.g phone number and assets).

Step 1: Request email change from the support, let us know of the reason for the email change.

Step 2: Upload documents such as a selfie holding your ID and a paper note requesting a change of the email, indicating both old and new email addresses and current date.

Step 3: Approval of details takes place if the above steps have been initiated by the user (If the above steps have been completed and verified by the departments involved in the process, it will proceed to STEP 4).

Step 4: Technical Team will initiate the email change. The Support Team will be in touch once the process is completed.

Note: This process is subject to approval. A number of factors will need to be verified for this request.

Recovery Fee:

The amount will be determined based on numerous factors.
